Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on weekends and major federal holidays. Please contact us for our full holiday schedule.
How do I enroll my child?
Start by filling out the contact form above or giving us a call. We'll schedule a free tour so you can see the facility and meet Lisa. After your visit, she'll walk you through the enrollment paperwork and discuss availability in the program that's right for your child.
Is Lisa's Rascals Daycare licensed?
Yes. Lisa's Rascals Daycare is fully licensed by the Maryland Office of Child Care. Lisa is background-checked, CPR certified, and holds current first aid certifications. The facility meets all state safety and health requirements.
How many children does Lisa care for at one time?
Lisa follows Maryland's licensing requirements for family childcare capacity. The exact number depends on the ages enrolled, but the licensed limit ensures every child gets real, individual attention — not a shared glance across a crowded room.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
We provide nutritious morning and afternoon snacks. Families are asked to send in a packed lunch for their child. All meals and snacks served at our center are nut-free. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions during enrollment.
What is your sick child policy?
To protect all the children in our care, we ask that sick children be kept home. A child must be fever-free for 24 hours without medication before returning. If your child becomes ill during the day, we will contact you immediately and ask that they be picked up within one hour.
